Insalata Caprese

Heirloom tomato and balsamic-marinated mozzarella cheese, topped with purple basil. Pretty and tasty.


  1. Purple basil, even! As Lime has taken to saying when envious, “Damn you!” It looks good.

  2. Yummy.

    I picked the first tomato from my garden yesterday. I started my garden late, so they only started ripening recently. Damn, it was good. (Brad said it was the best tomato he ever tasted.)

    Unfortunately, it may be the only ripe tomato I’ll get from there, because the warm weather has run out here.

  3. Hmmm… looks tasty.

    I’m off to the kitchen now.
