Lucky Thirteen?

I’ve currently got thirteen stories out at various markets. This is an all time high for me, so I’m pretty pleased. In case anybody is curious where the stories go, here’s a list of the markets I have stories at right now:

Abyss & Apex
Asimov’s Science Fiction
Beneath Ceaseless Skies
Coyote Wild
Fantasy & Science Fiction
Flash Fiction Online
Greatest Uncommon Denominator (GUD)
Hub
Interfictions II anthology
Lady Churchill’s Rosebud Wristlet
Les Bonnes Fees
Realms of Fantasy
Talebones

(This isn’t an all-inclusive list of markets I submit to, just the places that I happen to have things at right now.)

The first letter of each market can be anagrammed into: “Fall Crab Fight.” This isn’t relevant to anything, but makes this post more like a meme, and people on LJ seem to be fond of memes.

Skimming over my recent entries, I can see that this is the first post I’ve written in quite some time that does not contain a picture of food. Do not be alarmed. I am baking cookies today, so there will be more pictures soon.

  1. Cool, Caroline! I’m like you–I keep a lot of things out there, too. Have stories at the first four on your list, as well as GUD and Hub. I queried Hub this week on a sub going back to mid-August and got a nice reply from Lee Harris. They’re behind on the slush, if you’re wondering.
