Well, my first Clarion story, “Tending the Mori Birds” was rejected at Clarkesworld, but I turned it around for a quick sale to Fantasy Magazine! It’s my very first sale, so of course I spent much of this past weekend celebrating (having heard on Friday that the story was accepted). And, as proof that I didn’t hallucinate the whole thing: http://oldcharliebrown.livejournal.com/87419.html.

YAY! CONGRATS!!
Thank you!
Thanks :)
That’s really sweet! Fantasy is an excellent new market.
Thanks! From what I’ve seen of it so far, I’ve been quite impressed, so I’m extremely excited to get an acceptance there!
Yay! Go you!
Wow, congratulations! That’s excellent. :)
How long did you wait on that Clarkesworld rejection, btw? I’ve had something there, and I’m getting (irrationally) antsy.
Thanks! The Clarkesworld rejection was 20 days.
Congratulations!
