I made these nifty badges as part of a novel writing contest I'm doing through Codex. Credit for the wonderful idea of making badges in the first place goes to Vylar Kaftan, who also came up with most of the categories. Need some extra motivation? Help yourself to a badge (or several). |

For a day when you feel like you deserve a badge, just because. | |
For a day where you really, really, really don't want to write--but you get 500 words written anyway. | |
For a day when you had 100% fun/enjoyment during your writing session. | |
For mentioning a duck, goose or other waterfowl somewhere in your novel. | |
Writing at least 1,000 words after eating a cheeseburger, turkeyburger, gardenburger, or equivalent food product. Nom! | |
For writing at least 500 words AND working out for at least 30 minutes every day for a week. | |
Completing 2,000 new words in a single day. | |
Completing 5,000 new words in a single day. | |
Completing 8,000 new words in a single day. | |
For writing 10,000 words new in one week. | |
Completing one chapter per week (or equivalent) for three weeks straight. | |
